Primary Purpose:
The Curriculum Specialist I position will analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate online education directed toward employees, organization members, or those who use the organization's products or services. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of organization and creativity is expected.

Essential Functions:
Conduct needs, task, and audience analysis and provide feedback and advice on the development of online education.
Interpret technical content and accurately reflect that content in design and development of online courses.
Design, develop, and implement online education for web browsers to meet ARUP workforce and client needs, using given or gathered needs assessment data from content expert(s) and using existing IFL templates.
Evaluate effectiveness of implemented online education.
Provide online education resource information for ARUP employees and clients.
Manage multiple projects from beginning to end, including concept, design, and scripting.
Track projects' status with @Task software [using IFL project templates].
Troubleshoot course issues and provide support for course users.
Establish and maintain open and effective communication with project stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical and Other Requirements:
Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
Mobility: The person in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Communicate: Frequently communicate with others.
PPE: Biohazard laboratory environment that requires use of personal protective equipment in accordance with CDC and OSHA regulations and company policies.
ARUP Policies and Procedures: To conduct self in compliance with all ARUP Policies and Procedures.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Fine Motor Control: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.
