Custodial Worker/ Janitor

GREAT WORK ENVIRONMENT!! Large church in the western suburbs Custodian/facilities/janitor Part Time Opportunity - DAY SHIFT (Approx start time 9 AM) 20-30 hours per week includes Saturday hours and some late evenings AS THE CUSTODIAL WORKER YOU WILL: • Clean and maintain assigned area(s) to meet customer and client satisfaction. This includes safe sanitizing as per CDC COVID19 guideline • Complete overall task which includes: heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, carpets, removal of trash and light snow removal. • Properly cleans and maintain housekeeping equipment: • Maintain a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others. • Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport to it designated areas. • Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel • Secure the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required. • Ensure security of church assets. • Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement • Adhere to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with OSHA, state/local federal and City Wide regulations. • Additional duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
