Custodian

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal Janitor will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including floor care, industrial cleaning, and general maintenance tasks. Responsibilities • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to ensure cleanliness. • Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of appearance. • Carry out custodial duties in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained. • Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, replenishing supplies as needed. • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. Experience • Previous experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles is preferred but not mandatory. • Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. • Knowledge of floor care methods and products is beneficial. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. • Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) Join us in creating a clean and inviting space for everyone!
