Job Description

CUSTODIAN

Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities, the Custodian will be responsible for a variety of cleaning and building maintenance duties required for the proper upkeep of the Barnstable County Sheriff's Office facilities.

• Responsible for keeping the floors of the BCSO cleaned and waxed
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets
• Wash walls and windows
• Proper removal of trash throughout the facilities
• Touch up paint throughout the facilities
• Replace bathroom supplies
• Dust furniture
• Make minor repairs throughout the facilities
• Follow all BCSO policies and procedures.
• Assist other facility maintenance staff when required, for the necessary general operations of the BCSO
• Other duties as may be assigned at the discretion of the Sheriff
