RANCHO BERNARDO COMMUNITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH FULL TIME CUSTODIAN Hiring a full-time custodian to maintain a clean, safe and properly prepared facility for church functions. The custodian works with all campus buildings and grounds as well as having a presence on campus to assist in security. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES A. Clean and maintain campus facilities and grounds on a continual basisB. Setup campus facilities for a variety of functions and eventsC. Provide periodic deep cleaning of facilitiesD. Provide security on campus by maintaining a visible presence, confronting suspicious activities and properly locking all buildings.E. Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies, bathroom and kitchen supplies WORKING RELATIONSHIPSA. Reports to the Facility ManagerB. Relates as a colleague with the staff to ensure that staff relations are team oriented. QUALIFICATIONS C. Exhibits a professional, positive attitude and “good customer service”.D. US Citizen or authorized to work in the US.E. High school diploma or equivalent.F. Minimum one-year custodial experienceG. Good physical healthH. Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and lift 150 pounds with assistanceI. Ability to stand or walk up to 7 hours a day.J. Job requires carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. K. Experience with cleaning machinery and techniques.L. Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and work well with minimum supervision.M. Ability to mix and understand the proper and safe use of various cleaning agents.N.
