Custodian – Brighton School Position Available Immediately About the Position Brighton School is seeking areliable and dedicated Custodianto join our facilities team. This is a full-time, year-round position with responsibilities during both the academic year and summer break. The ideal candidate is someone dependable, takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment, and is comfortable monitoring high school restrooms during lunch and passing periods. Key Responsibilities • Perform custodial maintenance and cleaning throughout school facilities including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas • Serve asrestroom monitor for high school students during lunch • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors • Report maintenance issues promptly and assist in minor repairs as needed • Restock supplies and ensure all sanitation protocols are followed • Assist with occasional setup/cleanup for school events Schedule • School Year Hours:Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM • Summer Hours:Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM Requirements • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card(Required) • Prior custodial or maintenance experience preferred • Ability to follow instructions and work independently • Dependable and punctual with strong attention to detail • Comfortable interacting with students and staff in a professional manner Compensation & Benefits • Starting pay:$18.00/hour • Pay increase opportunitiesafter 3 months and 1 year • Medical insuranceavailable after 60 days of employment How to Apply Interested applicants should be ready to show proof of IVP Fingerprint Clearance to.
