Custom Software Engineer

Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will spend your day designing, coding, and improving software components that meet unique business requirements. You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient solutions, adapting to evolving project needs and utilizing contemporary development methodologies. Your work will contribute to the overall success of software systems by addressing specific challenges and enhancing functionality. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development. - Maintain and improve existing software applications to enhance performance and user experience. - Document development processes and solutions to support knowledge sharing within the team. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Node.js. - Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture. - Experience with RESTful API design and development. - Familiarity with database integration and management using both SQL and NoSQL technologies. - Knowledge of version control systems and collaborative development workflows. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Node.js. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
