The main purpose of this position is to manage, solicit, assist, grow, and maintain our current and future customer base while providing an excellent customer experience. This includes requests for loads and all customer service functions needed to ensure customer KPI's are met and or exceeded.

- Receive and manage customer load requests via telephone, e-mail, and Electronic submission, and monitor changes in load status.
- Professionally solicit loads from customers to build their internal portfolio and drive organizational revenue growth.
- Manage load bookings within your management area for commitments and capacity.
- Manage customer On-time service levels and other key performance indicators to exceed customer needs.
- Close Team interaction and maintain daily communication with planning team, operations team and Supervisor to ensure daily operational functions are met.
- Manage equipment needs for your customers.

- Knowledge of transportation industry and terminology usually gained through practical experience and on-the job training.
- Strong customer service skillsets with an emphasis on relationship development.
- Skill in operating a P.C.
- Experienced typing skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong decision-making ability.
- Ability to collaborate with others to support timely completion of tasks or improvement of key performance indicators as set by customer or Supervisor.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- One to three years customer service experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration/Management is a plus but not required.
- One to three years relevant transportation experience preferred but not required.
- P.C. experience preferred with shipment scheduling experience within the truck load industry.
