CAMP Systems is the leading provider of aircraft compliance and health management services to the global business aviation industry. CAMP is the pre-eminent brand in its industry and is the exclusive recommended service provider for nearly all business aircraft manufacturers in the world. Our services are delivered through a "SaaS plus" model and we support over 20,000 aircraft on our maintenance tracking platform and over 31,000 engines on our engine health monitoring platform. Additionally, CAMP provides shop floor management ERP systems to over 1,300 aircraft maintenance facilities and parts suppliers around the world. Inventory Locator Service (ILS), a division of CAMP has helped customers by collecting data about parts available in the marketplace and organizing them into one user-friendly database. The new and used parts locator service developed by ILS has helped numerous customers in the aviation, marine, and defense sectors find the parts they need, streamline procurement, sell their parts inventory, improve their MRO services, and automate their supply chain operations.
CAMP's relationships with business aircraft manufacturers, aircraft maintenance facilities, and parts suppliers place it in a unique position to understand how current offline information flows in the business aviation industry to introduce friction to the global market for business aviation parts and services. As a Customer Account Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring the financial well-being of our valued clients. Your responsibilities will encompass managing customer accounts, facilitating timely payments, offering support to enhance their experience with their ILS subscription and identify expansion opportunities. Collaborating closely with various teams, your efforts will contribute to the overall success of the customer relationship. This role requires excellent organization, clear communication skills and a passion for building customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers via phone calls and emails (approximately 25-50 interactions daily) to address inquiries and concerns.
- Proactively reach out to customers with delinquent balances to negotiate suitable payment terms within defined limits.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of our accounting principles and processes to better assist customers with financial inquiries.
- Foster high levels of customer satisfaction, loyalty, and engagement by delivering exceptional service and positive user experiences.
- Perform account reconciliations, credit applications, and review accounts for billing accuracy.
- Analyze account aging and take necessary actions to ensure correct invoicing and offsets.
- Handle customer escalation calls and implement strategies to retain at-risk customers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization to provide seamless support to our customers.
- Work closely with Customer Success and Sales teams to maximize customer value.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline. May consider combination of equivalent experience and education in lieu of degree
- 1-3 years of experience in customer success, accounts receivables, account management. SaaS experience a benefit.
- Strong cross-functional partnership experience
- Passion for helping customers and colleagues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document and communicate with internal and external resources
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to solve complex, interdependent problems required to ensure accuracy and effective execution of all projects and tasks undertaken
- Highly organized with ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task
- Proficiency with MS Office
- High energy and positive 'can do' attitude
