This position is for a Customer Account Specialist professional who will serve as the point of contact for the administration processing external customer orders and quotations. Directly responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of order processing, ensuring that all claims are made in a fair and consistent manner with customer contracts and internal policy. The Collins Aerospace order administration department provides customer support services for a global customer base. This candidate will Collaborate with other Customer Account Specialists and support continuous improvements to the corporate warranty process. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing reports that identify major contributors to warranty cost and audit charges to warranty accounts, taking corrective action as necessary. This role directly affects the relationship between the company and the customer.

Job Description:
  • Provide moderately complex quotes (Catalog net / list / pre-approved Sales Bulletins; standard and previously negotiated Ts & Cs).
  • Validate customer PO against basic / standard and previously negotiated contractual terms negotiating with the customer any issues identified.
  • Work with appropriate functions within the company to achieve delivery lead times to satisfy customer's requirements. This includes utilizing an established network of internal contacts in other areas of the business.
  • Interacts with customer prior to and/or after sale developing and maintaining positive partner relationships.
  • Aware of customer's business and operating environment.
  • Begins to recognize add-on growth opportunities for assigned accounts.
  • Proactively gathers customer information, assures timely response to requests, and develops solution to customer specific issues.
  • May help develop customer presentations.
  • Supports forecasting team by providing timely info on changes in customer production changes/requirements.
  • Receives general instruction on new projects or assignments. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy.
  • Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, referring to defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action .
  • Responsible for measuring performance to customers on many dimensions.
  • Area of focus is root cause and development of corrective actions.
  • Continue to develop and use analytical skills to perform data analysis to create resolutions to positively impact performance to all customers and/or serve as a precedent for future decisions.
  • Serves as customer liaison for assigned customers, managing all elements of customer relationship activities.
  • Has direct responsibility for customer metrics such as sales, on time delivery and customer acceptance/satisfaction.
  • May be responsible to prepare proposals and negotiate contracts for programs that are primarily hardware with a limited amount of non-recurring effort.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required

The salary range for this role is $70,000.00 to $152,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
