About the role
We are currently looking for a Customer Activation Manager to join our Commercial Excellence Team. This role is all about delivering top-notch customer and shopper activations and boosting Haleon brands' in-store visibility.
As a Customer Activation Manager, you'll create and utilize insights to prepare the best activities, tools, and selling stories for Haleon customers and sales teams.
You will also have a significant impact on translating a brand strategy into superior customer and channel brand trade plans, identifying opportunities across customer, channel, subchannel, and category, and building a unique shopper experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the shopper/ customer marketing support within scope in all channels where the brand is distributed
- Create an in-store visibility and a communication of categories via development of point of sale materials
- Lead multi-brand / cross category support projects to ensure full coherence and addressing all elements of a successful sales support
- Develop relevant and meaningful advocacy and education programs
- Work with Brand marketing to ensure best-in-class translation of brand growth drivers and strategies into shopper tools
- Work with Sales teams to provide tools that will address market gaps with opportunities and customer expectations in the most relevant and successful way
- Work with Category Manager to incorporate and develop strategic guidelines into support planning and execution
- Seek the most innovative and successful Shopper support tools through regular store checks, detailed analysis, and promotions from competitors and Haleon
- Develop a tailored and compelling communications initiative to drive the commercial objectives and customer focus strategy
- Effectively communicate support tools to Sales team on a regular basis
- Engage with customers to help secure Haleon’s strategic partnerships
- Demonstrate the delivery of sales and equity targets across the brands in scope
- Oversee optimization of shopper marketing budget through ongoing evaluation and effective prioritization of key activities
- Act as shopper lead throughout the commercial planning process to ensure the shopper voice is at the heart of the Brand and Customer discussions.
Qualifications and skills
- 3+ years’ experience in Customer/Trade/Shopper Marketing
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Great organizational skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in cross functional teams
