Customer Data Optimization Coordinator
Job Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Balance technology and business issues and be able to communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts
- Work with Marketing/Operational teams to help build filters, queries to optimized email marketing efforts for all programs across PCH
- Working with business and segmentation engine team to help define and create segments to meet marketing and Advertising Media team objectives
- Evaluate and utilize third party segmentation tools to align customer first party data to online experiences via persona segment creation utilize real time events
- Analyze and evaluate data gathered from multiple sources and reconcile/address conflicts or business issues
- Conduct independent analysis and review requirements utilizing knowledge of business systems and requirements, with ability to supply alternative suggestions/improvements to requirements
- Help Data Governance team develop, implement and manage data quality and protection measures across the company
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and develop charts/reports for presentations of results
- Data Stewardship - help document business requirements towards data capture and business cases, including how data will be used and the time requirements from collection, grooming, to utilizing across PCH's suite of sites/apps Perform other job-related duties and activities as requested
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science, Information and Data Management, or Business/Marketing
- 1-2 years related experience
- Outstanding communication and documentation skills as well as the ability to assess the needs of users and translate these into accurate and accessible reports are essential
- Experience with web decision and/or email marketing tools a plus
- MDM / Data Governance tools and Big Data a plus
- High level of curiosity and investigative mind-set with an attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to be proficient at querying and managing data
- Experience with Tableau is a plus
- Strong analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office including Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills and highly experienced at dealing with clients/users at all levels, singly and in groups
- Demonstrated sense of logic, creativity, decision making and problem resolution
- Ability to multi-task and provide high quality solution under pressure
- Qualified candidates should possess a strong attention to detail and be able to thrive in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
