Customer Data Specialist

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Customer Data Specialist is responsible for owning, maintaining, and continually improving processes and outcomes related to customer registrations in our web ordering system. This role requires you to be on-site in our beautiful corporate office in Schaumburg, IL Monday through Friday. Specific responsibilities include:

• Collecting customer information and registering it into the web ordering system.
• Establishing data entry standards by reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting incompatibilities, and checking output to improve data quality.
• Execute data cleansing tasks to ensure smooth downstream operation.
• Addressing data inconsistencies by working with department/staff.
• Ensuring that the data in the web order system folder is detailed, organized, complete and accurate.
• Maintaining the unregistered user list, unregistered ship to list, and any other departmental checklists.
• Generating reports as needed and performing backup operations.
• Conduct kaizen activities to improve processes and outcomes related to customer registrations.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
 

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or data science.
• 1+ years of proven data entry work experience.
• Experience with an ERP or data entry software.
• Excellent typing skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
• Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to spot errors accurately and efficiently.
