Job Description

The Customer Development Analyst is responsible for overseeing the data and analytic needs for the Customer Development Team and Sales Department. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into structured information that the team can utilize to make key business decisions. This position will collect sales data from various customer portals, build reports, analyze data trends, and report their findings to the team. In addition, this role will utilize Acumatica, the company’s ERP system, to collect data and create reports outlining information tied to purchase orders, sales quota, and commissionable sales. 

As the Customer Development Analyst, you will take on the responsibility of organizing and analyzing data that will provide key insights to the company. Your primary job responsibilities will include: 

1. Collect and organize sales data from various customer portals and platforms.

1. Build reports that track sales performance and identify market trends. 

1. Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids in DOMO that support the company’s monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. 

1. Coordinate with the Sales Executives to identify specific data and reporting requirements tailored to their retailers’ needs. 

1. Utilize Microsoft Excel, DOMO, Acumatica, and Retail Link to perform essential job functions. 

Qualifications

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience: 

1. The ideal candidate will be very organized, detail oriented, and proactive. 

1. Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness. 

1. Possess a foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Excel, SPSS, SAS). Mastery in data analysis languages including SQL, Python, and R is a plus. 

1. A bachelor’s degree completed or in progress. Prior experience in data analysis or a related field is preferred. 

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

1. Positive demeanor and professional appearance. 

1. Long-term commitment (minimum 2-3 years is preferred).
