Gerber is searching for a Customer Experience Rep to join our amazing team in Portland, Oregon!

This is a hybrid role (2-3 days a week remote work).

About the Role:

The Customer Experience Representative is the face and voice of our organization. Often the first and only interaction business customers and end-user consumers will have with our organization, your upbeat, positive attitude impacts the overall experience and perception of Gerber. The role requires a developed ability to accomplish a variety of complicated tasks in a high volume, fast-paced environment. The Customer Experience Representative works closely with customers to maintain and track order fulfillment, account management, and warranty issues. Success in this position will require the balance between thinking, listening, and speaking in a purely positive way while following the rules and policies of the Company.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm

This is a hybrid role (2-3 days a week remote work).

Major Activities And Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and problem solving by responding to all inbound calls, faxes, and email communications
• Assist business customers, sales representative, and internal employees with account management, website navigation, and shipping issues
• Be an active listener who can show empathy and patience in a non-scripted environment
• Communicate information to a variety of non-technical and technical customers
• Resolve customer inquiries
• Work in a fast paced, high volume, changing environment
• Work daily with data maintenance and order management
• Learn and strives to gain new knowledge about product and service changes
• Is responsible for maintaining systems master data

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred
• Ability to receive and implement ongoing feedback / coaching
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal phone etiquette skills
• Strong computer application skills
• Strong oral/written communication skills
• Must be results oriented
• Motivated to be a consistent performer
• Maintain a positive attendance record
• Multitasker with ability to prioritize
