Customer Experience Solutions - Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote, US)

The Customer Experience Solutions division of EverCommerce is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team.

You are open to exploring new technologies and different ways to solve problems. You also desire to build upon your existing experience and contribute back to the team's learning and growth. The Senior DevOps Engineer works with several engineering teams on different products with different infrastructure needs. You will help support these teams and build solutions for deploying, monitoring, maintaining, trouble shooting and suggesting performance and cost optimizations.

Responsibilities:

• Help ensure our infrastructure and applications are built with security, performance, and scalability in mind.
• Design, develop and implement automated build & deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and maintain changes to infrastructure using Terraform and similar tools.
• Work with engineering teams to develop and implement tools that monitor infrastructure and application performance.
• Work with engineering teams to detect, debug and correct operational issues.
• Research new technologies and strategies
• Write and maintain documentation related to the infrastructure and processes.

Where:

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working across time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States. If you are close to one of our offices, you can choose between an in-office or hybrid set-up, or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work in the U.S. to qualify for this position.

Skills and Experience:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject is preferred but not required
• 5+ years of full stack development experience
• 8+ years of experience using and developing with DevOps tools in AWS and Azure
• 8+ years of experience with AWS Console and CLI for following technologies and similar
• IAM
• EC2
• S3
• VPC
• CloudFront
• Redis
• Route53
• Experience with Linux server administration
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Experience maintaining and setting up cloud infrastructure with Terraform
• Experience with deployment automation tools such as AWS CodeDeploy, Jenkins, Github Actions or other tools
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience writing BASH/Shell scripting
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Strong knowledge of best practice for cloud computing and security.
