As a Customer Finance Intern, you will receive hands on experience working with our customer finance team, working directly with customers under the supervision of a Credit and Collections Supervisor.
Your Principal Duties will include:

• Create analysis to track cash collection of assigned AR accounts.
• Contact customers (phone, email, mail) and provide documentation to substantiate collection of AR.
• Assist on collection via customer 3rd party portal systems.
• Utilize ERP to research customer inquiries on AR balances and resolve issues.
• Interface with Operations Departments (OM, D&I, Service, etc.) to adjust balances/issue credits as appropriate.
• Follow best practices collection process including dunning and 3rd party collection agency.
• Make recommendations on future process improvements regarding small balance accounts.
• Will be provided exposure to AR, Credit, Leasing and Collections in business environment.
• Other duties and activities as needed including special projects

Preferred Experience:

• 2 years of college academics (Sophomore)
• Working knowledge of business software (Microsoft office suite)
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to multi-task, independent worker
