Position Overview

Provide support to the Director of Transformational Innovation. As a member of the innovation team, you will work closely with various Hubbell business unit cross functional teams to scope out and conduct Voice of the Customer (VoC) projects. You will be responsible for overseeing communications, coordinating schedules, conducting research, and creating reports and presentations. You will also engage with targeted customers to survey and qualify them for VoC interviews.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage with VoC candidates who participate in customer interviews
  • Work with Business Unit project teams to understand the customers, products, and market
  • Maintain VoC customer lists based on organizations, roles, titles, and personas
  • Work with various Hubbell departments such as Hubbell Enterprise Marketing & Hubbell Sales teams to identify and track potential VoC leads
  • Conduct customer surveys to engage with potential VoC customers
  • Review survey responses to qualify potential VoC candidates
  • Schedule meetings between VoC customers and business unit project teams to conduct VoC interviews
  • Take and maintain VoC interview notes
  • Manage purchase requisitions and invoices
  • Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, and reports for Director of Transformational Innovation
  • Participate in meetings and projects, as needed
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Ability to observe strict confidentiality in all aspects of services provided

  • Ability to make sound decisions and take necessary actions
  • Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations
  • Ability to work on a personal computer or other related equipment, as required
  • 2 to 5 years of administrative or customer service-related experience

Bachelors Degree
