The Customer Marketing Manager (Remote) is responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies and programs that drive engagement, adoption, and growth across the customer lifecycle, which is critical to the customer success, expand sales, marketing, and product teams. The Customer Marketing Manager works with key cross-functional stakeholders to increase product usage, use cases, and ultimately customer satisfaction and revenue through automated programs, events, and communications. This role will work closely with customer advocacy to engage a steady pool of “raving fans” who will advocate for AlertMedia in the industry. Previous experience in a customer marketing role would be beneficial.   

What you get to do every day: 

  • Drive customer retention through end-to-end lifecycle programs and marketing campaigns, targeted to various segments, industries, and personas 
  • Build a multi-channel communication strategy that drives adoption and increases usage via newsletters, implementation resources, office hours, webinars, and new initiatives 
  • Develop and execute customer events that drive engagement and adoption across segments 
  • Drive the creation resources that support long-term adoption and growth, like user guides, templates, tutorial videos, and decks 
  • Work closely with product and product marketing to ensure the success of product launches and early access programs 
  • Create marketing campaigns that support the Customer Success team in combatting churn and saving at-risk customers 
  • Develop and manage consistent avenues for customer feedback to drive product innovation and improvements to our support model, like NPS, surveys, and feedback groups 

What you bring to the role: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing or marketing role 
  • A strong passion for understanding customers and helping them succeed 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to nurture customer relationships and work with cross-functional teams 
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail to drive marketing effectiveness and measure positive outcomes 
  • Experience with Salesforce and Outreach (required) and Marketo & Gainsight (nice to have)  
  • Ability to write effective copy from a human perspective 
  • Roll-up-your-sleeves approach with a willingness to take on "non-role-specific" duties as needed to support the team and business 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects demands concurrently   
  • Strong organization and project management skills, with a keen eye for prioritization 
  • Understanding and experience with lifecycle and/or customer marketing is a plus
