Job Description Summary
The Customer Marketing Manager TT and ROC (Rest of Caribbean) will contribute to the category's growth within the Traditional Trade Channel in Puerto Rico and focus primarily on ROC's Priority Markets (Jamaica, Bahamas and Trinidad & Tobago) by leading the Customer Marketing strategy for Mars Wrigley in the marketplace. Act on customer's needs by developing the strategies that grow our brands and drive category growth.
Drive Customer Centricity in our priority customers, aligned to Mars Wrigley's Strategic Channel Management (Distributor Partners, Gas Stations, Wholesaler, Sub-Distributors, Independent Drugstores, among others), lead the One Demand agenda achieving alignment between Mars Wrigley's agenda and the customer's agenda. Responsible of defining the promotional priorities and generate strategies in the Point of Sales that drive sell-out for all company's activities.
What are we looking for?
- Individual contributor with a Bachelor's Degree and +3 years of experience in Marketing, Advertising or related field in the Consumers Goods industry.
- Must be fully bilingual (English / Spanish).
- Microsoft Office proficient, with strong Excel skills - knowledgeable in managing operating systems and databases.
- Competencies expected: financial acumen, manages complexity, decision quality, plans and align, drives results, organizational savvy, drives vision and purpose, levering insights into actions and influencing without authority, among others.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Member of the Traditional Trade and ROC teams calling on our priority customers / markets leading the customer strategy for all the Mars Wrigley portfolio, including Chocolate, Gum, Confectionary, Spicy, Turin and Petcare.
- Manage the customer's promotional plans in Traditional Trade Channel and ROC for all our products.
- Partner with the Customer Development team and other cross functional teams to deliver an annual activation plan which is aligned to SCM choices, category growth drivers, customer needs and influences shoppers throughout the path to purchase. Effectively adapt and adjust activity plans to reflect the changing customer and internal environment.
- Create and lead the sell-out strategies for Traditional Trade Channel and ROC alongside the Customer Development Leader for Traditional Trade and ROC.
- Build brand equity in the point of sale through consumer and display activations for all brands.
- Responsible of sound and efficient management of assigned consumer and display budget for Traditional Trade Channel and ROC.
- Create the secondary displays strategy for all our innovations adapted to different customers within the Traditional Trade Channel and ROC.
- Responsible of creating the Hot Spots strategy for all our customer in the Traditional Trade Channel and ROC.
- Develop and deploy jointly with Category Leadership the Perfect Store strategy for all our categories in the Traditional Trade Channel and ROC.
- Grounded in shopper and customer insight, develop and execute channel and customer activation initiatives that delivers the short and long term brand portfolio aspirations, drives optimal physical availability, engages the shopper, drives conversion and share growth.
- Ensure activity plans are aligned across Sales and CBU's and brought into the S&OP+ process where appropriate, ensuring trade-offs are made to meet wider business objectives
- Track and manage on-going performance analysis and regular brand reviews, implement agreed promotional plan and the marketing activity calendar in market:
