Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will do in This Role:
- Manage process, people and customer relationships while focusing on the customer's project success
- Customer point of contact for project operations
- Take a data driven approach to closing out operational issues
- Lead a cross-functional team of engineers from several technical disciplines
- Provide continuous feedback to the Engineering, Project Execution and Sales teams to highlight areas for improvement and areas of success, both need to be fed back into the business
- Review simulation scenarios to ensure the deliverability of the design / scope / solution
- Provide lessons learned matrix for internal improvements activity
- Develop operational and maintenance staffing recommendations for the customer to review
- Coordinate training plans to include the customer internal resources that will own the ongoing training
- Create mitigation plans to handle key system component recovery
- Manage activity within agreed budgets and mitigate NCC's
- Lead consultancy projects with our customers
What We are Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Math, Science or Engineering discipline or equivalent by experience
- Engineering, operations or logistics background with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
- Demonstrated experience of project work or operations management within the materials handling industry
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project and other MS office suite applications
- Lean, Six Sigma qualification would be an advantage
