We are looking for candidates to join a dynamic department within the exciting and growing industry of supply chain automation. The Customer Operational Readiness Manager is an integral conduit between the business, its suppliers, and contractors and, most importantly, its customers.
The Customer Operational Readiness manager is tasked in helping our customers to get the best out of our industry leading solutions. The position will be involved throughout the project from start to finish to prepare the customer to operate their complex automated material handling system. They will work closely and in parallel with the Project Execution Team
The ideal candidate would be an individual who can manage people, processes and customer relationships while focusing on the customer's project success. The role is demanding, and candidates should be aware that due to the project-based requirements of the role working away from home must be taken into consideration.

Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will do in This Role:
- Understand the full functionality of new world class warehouse and distribution center automation
- Principal customer point of contact for project operations by working side by side with customer execution teams
- To take a data driven approach to closing out operational issues that allows the customer to take ownership of the system
- Working with a cross-functional team of engineers from several technical disciplines to deliver some of the most innovative solutions in the industry
- Provide expert advice to the customer in order to create a launch plan that improves the success of the project launch
- Provide continuous feedback to the Engineering, Project Execution and Sales teams to highlight areas for improvement and areas of success, both need to be fed back into the business
- Review simulation scenarios to ensure the deliverability of the design / scope / solution with a "real world" view of the operational challenges
- Develop operational and maintenance staffing recommendations for the customer to create a winning team
- Coordinate training plans to include the customer internal resources that will own the ongoing training
- Create mitigation plans to handle key system component recovery
- To lead consultancy projects with our customers to create a vision for the future of their operations.
