About this role:

Kidde has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Operations Manager at it's Atlanta, GA location. This role will drive Collaborative Planning and Replenishment with the external customer and their account team throughout the item life cycle in the total supply chain. This role will influence the customer's new product launch, promotional plan and execute events, while leading the customer supply relationship. Should have a complete understanding of all customer's extensive systems and data of future/historical replenishment, sales, inventories to best drive best in class promotional and event planning and processes. This role will be also responsible for building relationships with internal supply contacts including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Transportation, Warehousing, and several other functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply commits, inventory planning, managing corresponding retail account operations, and commercial group operations
  • Lead and negotiation, and close collaboration with cross-functional groups such as business planning, product management, sales, marketing, supply chain, global business unit, and customer support teams are paramount to achieve key objectives
  • Analyze complex or new situations; manage business solutions or implement new approaches, procedures, or processes
  • Own and manage the supply commit process for your assigned partner/team.
  • Effectively conduct customer briefings and recommendations, in the support and optimization of CPFR Process
  • Influence and advise management on critical and strategic decisions or business issues--Sales & inventory alignment is critical with Distribution capacity planning
  • Lead the promotional order processing and customer collaboration efforts to align order fulfillment with the customer operations expectations
  • Collaborate with Retailers Special Event Team, Sales and Distribution on promotional execution
  • Maintain reports critical to business function, including Out of Stocks, Cycle Time, and service level performance

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Retail and/or e-commerce experience in the areas of the supply chain, planning, or operations
  • 5+ years working knowledge of analytics and problem-solving experience in supply chain management
  • 5+ years working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills are essential for all internal and external interactions
  • Ability to communicate/negotiate with all levels of a customer organization, as well as with internal executives, explain critical concepts and ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Effective project management skills and team leadership skills
  • Ability to develop and manage metrics that drive performance
