Customer Optimization Specialist - National Accounts (Remote)
Job Description
PRIMARY Objectives AND RESPONSIBILITIE
- Own key customer relationships and growth strategies (product adoption and utilization, retention, customer health) for a specified group of contracted healthcare facilities.
- Achieves national sales operational objectives by contributing national sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining national sales system improvements; implementing change.
- Qualifies, and closes business opportunities in designated national accounts and demonstrates an ability to strategically assess and approach a territory to optimize and execute a sales plan.
- Deliver insights and actionable next steps based your analysis of the facilities buying pattern and on captured customer interactions to your designated field sales team.
- Assist in the delivery and setup of equipment as necessary to ensure excellent service to customers. Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
- Build and maintain a collaborative partnership with Business Development team, field sales teams, Local operations teams, and operations leaders
- Understand GPO and national contract details and educate the facilities on how to best position the contact,
- Understand current Clinical Engineering program and work with facilities to ensure success as well as drive additional revenue.
- Establish and develop relationships with strategic customers, identifying opportunities to provide additional services.
- Leverage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track and manage campaigns, customers, and opportunities
- Other core expectations as defined and requested by your direct supervisor/manager and sales leadership.
Qualifications
- Four-year degree is preferred, but equivalent professional work experience with a proven track record of success is acceptable
- 2+ years healthcare sales, inside sales or related experience required.
- Skilled at using database, spreadsheet, word-processing and presentation software, particularly those in Microsoft Office, to facilitate daily work, make public presentations and prepare reports.
- Presents information effectively and persuasively across communication settings.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
- Proven insight and consultative selling skills
- Experience working in a team-based selling environment, preferably inside sales
- Proven track record of maintaining sales generation resulting in increased revenue

- Organization Skills: Ability to balance multiple priorities, objectives, and customer obligations in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Applies time management skills critical to success. Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Relationship Building and Influence Builds strong relationships with customers, through frequent phone contact and strong product knowledge and advice. Increase customer satisfaction, adoption, and retention. Influences decisions and business outcomes through relationships and negotiations. Collaborates and partners with field sales and cross functional teams to support customers. Ability to successfully sell in a complex sales environment (health care industry preferred)
- Strategic Vision: Understands company's vision and mission linked to direct application of methods and plans to accomplish sales strategy. Implements strategy and may lead team members to accomplish objective
- Computer skills: Entire MS Suite, Customer Relationship Management Software.
