Job Description

Come create the technology that helps the world act together

Nokia is committed to innovation and technology leadership across mobile, fixed and cloud networks. Your career here will have a positive impact on people's lives and will help us build the capabilities needed for a more productive, sustainable, and inclusive world.

We challenge ourselves to create an inclusive way of working where we are open to new ideas, empowered to take risks and fearless to bring our authentic selves to work.

The team you'll be part of

The Customer Experience organization provides a common interface to customers including account and relationship management, acting as the voice of the customer internally and creating demand across our business groups. While bringing deep understanding of local markets for our customer, the CX organization ensures strong alignment between sales and delivery teams.

Nokia Federal Solutions (NFS) is a dedicated Nokia US entity focused on delivering mission critical solutions to the US Government. NFS will deliver solutions, products, and participate in research directly with the US Government and the system integrator and partner community.

What you will learn and contribute to

Are you passionate about ensuring that customer projects/programs are delivered within agreed scope, budget, schedule and quality?

We're looking for someone with a "can do" attitude who's willing to go beyond traditional project management tasks and assist with "hands on" configuration, acceptance testing and documentation of all elements, including configuration details.

As part of our team, you will:
  • Manage the delivery of Nokia and potentially third-party products and/or services per the defined scope of the customer contract
  • Interface with the customer, NFS sales team, Nokia BUs and any third parties involved in delivering the project
  • Participate in pre-sales and sales process activities
  • Drive the customer relationship during delivery, including communications towards the customer in all activities related to the scope of the contract, including customer complaints, corrective actions and changing requirements
  • Participate in configuration and testing, where applicable

Note: Due to the requirements of the National Security Agency, only US Citizens are eligible for this position.

Your skills and experience

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 10 years project management experience in the telecom industry, government, or military
  • At least 8 years relevant experience in wireless deployments

It would be nice if you also had:
  • Understanding of end-to-end wireless architecture with at least one area of deep expertise in the following: 4G/5G core, RAN and backhaul transport/routing
  • Hands-on experience with Nokia wireless products: BTS (node B, eNB, GNodeB), Core/Packet core and backhaul (switches/routers)
  • Experience working with wireless in a US government environment, either lab or larger scale deployment
  • Top Secret SCI clearance or ability to achieve this clearance

What we offer

Nokia offers flexible and hybrid working schemes, continuous learning opportunities, well-being programs to support you mentally and physically, opportunities to join and get supported by employee resource groups, mentoring programs and highly diverse teams with an inclusive culture where people thrive and are empowered.

At NFS, you'll be joining a nascent, growing team that provides a stimulating work environment combined with opportunities to develop your career in multiple different ways.
