The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia's Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.
Network Infrastructure's Americas Regional Business Center organization has an opportunity for a Customer Project Manager (CPM) to join our Customer Delivery team. The CPM ensures customer projects / programs are delivered within agreed scope, budget, schedule, and quality, and the CPM is accountable for the delivery of the entire customer contract. The CPM represents Nokia and is the primary contact for the assigned scope for planning, execution, resource and cost allocation, prioritization, and escalation topics for the entire project/program's life cycle. In this role you will oversee a large project, involving multiple Business Groups and Divisions.
What you will learn and contribute to
As a Customer Project Manager, you will:
- Ensure flawless execution of customer projects by coordinating resources and collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed, comprehensive project documentation including project plans, communications plans, risk assessments, and progress reports.
- Manage project schedules, action item registers, and deliverables to meet project objectives and timelines.
- Perform proper project close-out of each project, ensuring invoicing and revenue recognition.
- Conduct Lessons Learned activities during and at completion of every project to document and share with the overall PM Community.
Your skills and experience
You have:
- Minimum of 7 years working experience as a Customer Facing Project Manager in the telecommunication industry.
- Solid verbal and written communications skills, with experience working directly with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills including attention to details and ability to multi-task
It would be nice if you also had:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification
- Proficient use of Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
