Job Description

Summary of Responsibilities: The Customer Relationship Manager is responsible for client satisfaction and retention, upselling, problem solving, and volume projections.

Job Functions:

  1. Maintain and build professional relationships with existing clients in furtherance of company goals; Work in conjunction with Account Managers and Senior Management to improve client satisfaction and problem solve client feedback/complaints, project client volumes.
  2. Determine the customer's needs, make service recommendations according to customer's needs, offer value added services to enhance satisfaction; Sells additional services to current customers.
  3. Provides guidance, direction and information to clients on specific situations that arise.
  4. Travel to client sites as needed for presentations or problem solving;
  5. Monitor and regularly report on client satisfaction and volume projections;
  6. Comply with confidentiality standards, including HIPAA privacy regulations.

Credential: RHIA, RHIT or CCS credential from AHIMA is preferred and desired.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Associate's degree, work experience in HIM management, sales, or consulting; proven experience in medium to complex management activities, such as business development, or people/project management.

Working Conditions: Job requires travel and related conditions including but not limited to: lifting carrying luggage and work related packages considerable distances; access to a reliable personal vehicle; the ability to independently operate an automobile; flying in various types of airplanes; residing in moderate overnight accommodations. Job may require various in-office conditions included but not limited to: sitting and performing job at varying work stations; utilizing various computers and programs; complying with internal client policy and procedures.
