Customer Security Consultant - APAC

You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client’s organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a hands-on information security professional who possesses deep cybersecurity expertise broad technical skills and regulatory compliance knowledge. This professional is expected to grow into a management role.

Apptio is an industry leader in Technology Business Management solution space. Our customers use our solutions to analyze how much they spend on technology assets what is the usage of these assets and how to optimize spend and usage and to plan for future growth.

Your Role and Responsibilities
This position is located in Singapore but requires working closely with internal teams in APAC EMEA and U.S.

What we want you to do:

• Understand Apptio products and associated security controls.
• Understand security requirements of prospective and existing customers communicate technical policy and procedural security information.
• Respond to risk assessments and audits from customers and auditors.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in cybersecurity and audit compliance.
• Compliance experience with one or more of the following Information Security frameworks and standards: ISO/IEC 27000-series SSAE16 SOC1/2 GDPR.
• Experience with one or more of cloud platforms (AWS Azure and GCP)
• Experience with vulnerability management from identification to remediation
• Strong knowledge of modern tech stack and architecture

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• CISA/CISM/CISSP (or equivalent) certification preferred.
• Familiarity with local business cultures
• Experienced in working with business customers
• Attention to details and tenacity to work through tedious risk assessments and audits.
• Familiarity with Cloud architecture DevSecOPS SAST DAST and grey box testing
• Strong knowledge of security tools such as Scanners Firewalls SIEM DLP IDS/IPS etc.
