Customer Service Coordinator
Job Description
The Customer Service Coordinator interfaces with internal and external partners including customers, project managers, manufacturers, and sales to handle a variety of customer service functions. The Customer Service Coordinator works as an important part of the Operations team by providing exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for addressing daily customer inquiries and demonstrate a responsive and problem-solving approach to all situations.
- Responsible for the managing the entire life cycle of customer POs from order entry to shipment.
- Actively collaborates and consults with internal functions to provide an optimal solution to customer issues.
- Be creative and take an out of the box approach for taking appropriate action to resolve customers problems and concerns.
- Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
- Maintain relationships and be the first point of contact for the assigned customers and internal functions including, Sales, Planning and Project Management teams.
- Suggest opportunities to streamline or automate procedures related to assigned activities and functions for driving efficiencies within the Customer Service space.
- Answer phones and Front Desk Duty, as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Service and detailed oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Knowledge of food and beverage, manufacturing industries is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV or equivalent ERP system is preferred.
- Knowledge of SharePoint and Wrike is desired
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2–3-year Customer service experience required.
