Location Sugar Land, TX
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Team in Sugar Land, TX. In this role, Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing and maintaining updated information for its customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform administrative functions supporting customer service functions and sales order entries.
- Coordinate orders and shipments between Manufacturing and customers.
- Manages orders received from customers (entering, shipping, invoicing)
- Interface with departments handling activities such as credit and collections, sales, shipping and purchasing to ensure effective and timely service to customer.
- Manage requests from customers (expedites, cancellations, etc) using service now- ESM platform
- Provide monthly status of open orders and follow up with customers and Production.
- Maintain record of asset delivery progress and invoicing.
- Create and transfer birth records for assets sold to customers
- Maintains monthly KPIs that track center objectives such as on time shipment, inventory levels.
- Interact with Production, Buyer and Planner for follow-up of customer orders.
- Resolve licensing issues received from customers and record in support database.
- Maintain and improve the integrity of the data in the SAP database. (including due dates, lead time, pricing)
- Maintains the catalog of parts available to purchase
- Manages customs requirements for the different countries that we ship to
- Active participate in Segment and Center meetings as required Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.
Experience and Exposure
- Bachelor's degree in BA or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of professional experience in Oil and Gas company
- Strong communication skills required
- Ability to multitask
- Intermediate knowledge of MS-Office (Advanced knowledge in Excel is preferred)
- SAP knowledge will be a plus
- Industry experience with emphasis on production, planning, logistics, and customer service.
- Dangerous Goods logistics and transportation certifications (CFR 49, IATA and IMDG) is a plus
- Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
