Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative will have direct interaction with existing customers providing quality focused support regarding order placement, inquiries, concerns and other requests helping to ensure the Medical Device Business Unit hits expected forecast and growth targets.
ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service (70%)- Will have accountability for assisting a defined roster of customers utilizing our various services and products and will provide back up to others in the group as needed.
- Become proficient in systems that support order processing and data summary
- Maintain current revisions of product inserts, price lists, MSDSβs, Certificates of Conformance and tax codes and other Customer Service related Quality documents as appropriate
- Generate order processing documentation for reagent, premixed solution and bridge coating Purchase Orders
- Coordinate internal requirements and groups to ensure product availability and or capacity for open PO
- Process orders accurately, in a timely fashion and per any special customer requests or requirements
- Communicate with customers and other departments to ensure the customer is satisfied and the company achieves its goals
- Request and maintain accurate sales forecasts, data gathering and input for LRP β long range plan
- Participate in customer visits and internal meetings and take responsibility for improvement initiatives for area of responsibility
- Develop quotes in cooperation with Production, Engineering and Business Development
- Perform routine proactive follow up calls for renewing business and booking orders
- Associate Degree required in business administration or service related field
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, preferably with a medical company or a company servicing medical companies
- Working knowledge of Microsoft, Word and Excel
- Ability to multi task with focus on organizational skills
- Strong initiative, self-starter, team player
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
