What We Need:
Brady Corp is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Electromark team. This position provides new and existing customers with the best possible service in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, suggestions and complaints while adhering to SOX and ISO requirements to drive a best-in-class customer experience. Responsibilities are within the Customer Support / Operations Function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Responsible for customer interaction, whether phone or email, from start to finish including customer consultation, quotation, order management, and cross-functional
collaboration to ensure complete customer satisfaction - Through training and other learning opportunities, maintain a working knowledge and sufficient technical knowledge for all products of the division, and major product
lines for other divisions to properly advise customers - Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures, and makes sound decisions
- Develops relationships with customers and uses product and process knowledge to provide an unrivaled customer experience
- Understands and contributes to company and department goals, missions, and philosophies by contributing ideas and demonstrating decision-making skills
- Provides customers product and service information and identifies application solutions to maintain revenue streams from customer relationships
- Involved in process improvement through collaboration with peers, inter-company departments and leadership
What You Need To Be Successful:
- High School Diploma is required. Associate's degree is preferred
- Minimum of 1 years related experience in a manufacturing customer service environment (fast-paced)
- Proven problem solving and communication skills with time management abilities
- Ability to understand and follow standard work procedures and make decisions independently
- Commitment to superior customer service and ability to build cross-functional relationships
- Solid computer background (Google Suite)
- Ability to become proficient in basic Trade Compliance and International Regulations to reduce risk of non-conformance for both the customer and organization
- Additional years of experience or education may be substituted for each other as determined by Human Resources
Physical Demands and/or Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to use a keyboard, calculator, and telephone. Frequent sitting, talking, hearing, and occasionally stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift (20 lbs.), and an ability to adjust vision for close vision work.
