Front of House Customer Service Representative Wage: $8/Hour + Tips Location: Emporium Pies - Dallas TX 2708 Main Street Dallas TX Customer Service Hospitality is our number one priority at Emporium Pies. We treat our guests as if they are coming into our home, and we want guests to feel as though EP is a home away from home. When they walk in the door, they are family and we take care of their needs as best we can. Slicing As a Slicer, you are the show! Front and Center, slicing is the active work of giving the customer exactly what they came for. Pie. Duties of a slicer include: • Slicing Pie • Quality Control • Portion Control • Packaging • Interaction with Customers Making Packaging Front of house employees are responsible for stamping bags and doilies and assembling baskets to use during service. Making packaging should never come before providing customer service and is not an excuse to stay in the back of house, especially when guests are present. Busing Busing is not just about cleaning. It is about interacting with and taking care of the customer where they are. Don’t be shy about asking how a guest's pie was or if this was their first time to visit us. Offer napkins and ask if they need refills. Our bussers do more than dishes. They offer a secondary interaction with our customers in the dining room and assure quality while enhancing their overall experience. Busing Duties Include: • Talking to customers on the floor • Handing menus to customers in line and discussing their choices • Cleaning dining tables and coffee station • Re-stocking sugars, coffee creamer, napkins, forks, etc. • Ensuring that dishes are taken care of and that the slicing table has been well stocked. Register The person on register is our lifeline. While other positions have the ability to add to a customer’s experience, the position of Register gets business done. You are the translator for Emporium Pies and you set the tone for the remainder of the guest's visit. It is important that you use kind and positive language and that you wear your most important piece of the uniform: your SMILE. Opening and Closing the Store Front of House employees work together as a team, alongside their Shift Lead, to complete the checklists provided to open and close the store.
