Customer Service Representative I

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:

• Answer customer telephone calls, including: Placing orders, answering order inquiries, billing inquiries, product inquiries, complaints and requests for credits.
• Track shipments for customers as needed
• ISSS will confirm pricing discrepancies with sales staff and Customer Service Manager.
• Calculate freight and service upgrades.
• Document customer complaints and problems.
• Enter new customers into Solomon.
• Backup Order Flow Coordinator as needed to confirm shipped orders including quantity shipped, lot numbers, and backorders.
• Verify availability and accuracy of lot numbers; insure lot number assignments meet customer dating requirements.
• Help facilitate export documents as needed, i.e. NAFTA, etc
• Maintain file of open orders by sales order number

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE and CERTIFICATES:

• A college degree, preferably in business an/or animal science OR
• 1-3 years in customer service or comparable work experience preferred.
• SAP experience would be a plus
