Customer Service Representative - Remote Colorado or Colorado Springs, Colorado

Customer Service Representative

Be part of a team that is responsible for driving consumer loyalty for the Security business through, exceptional customer service, warranty support, pre-purchase support, technical support, and problem resolution. Customer Service Representatives portray a positive image for the company by accurately addressing all customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. The representative provides superior customer service and acts as customer advocate to continually improve the level of customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do:

  • Communicate directly with customers via phone, e-mail, ticket tracking, fax, or mail to identify and resolve a wide variety of issues and inquiries regarding Allegion products
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Analyze facts and data from the customer to determine next steps in call resolution
  • Represent the organization daily though customer contact and relationship-building
  • Communicate and coordinate with team and other internal departments to facilitate accurate resolution of customer issues
  • Manage a fluctuating workload while coordinating efforts within a team
  • Meet all service level agreements as set by management
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager
  • Asks clear, direct questions and listens carefully to responses, restating to clarify understanding to gather and document information from the customer
  • Communicates thoughts clearly and concisely
  • Project a professional company image and positive, can-do attitude
  • Demonstrates strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Build trust through complete follow-through on customer commitments
  • Support company values and mission to create a customer centric culture

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Ability to type 35 WPM, corrected speed
  • Knowledge of, and ability to perform, basic computer skills
  • Experience with MS Office, Excel, email, Adobe, and Windows based programs
  • Good organizational skills: ability to multitask and work in different software programs at the same time
  • Familiarity with, and comfortable using, Smart device applications preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate professional verbal and email communication skills
  • Customer Service Experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associates Degree or above preferred
  • Availability to work Saturdays with a day off during the M - F work week in addition to Sundays off

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

  • The expected Base Salary Range: $38,600 - 49,200. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
