The Opportunity:
As our Customer Success Engineer, you'll bridge the gap between our newly signed customers and successfully rolled out solutions - typically by performing technical training and consulting with them. You will take point on the technical onboarding and training of new customers and partners and will build up a training program for them.
Please note that for this role, we can currently offer full-remote work for candidates based in the European Union and in the United Kingdom.
Your Mission:
- Provide technical education to the developers at customers and partners who want to build their own solutions based on commercetools Front End by providing appropriate content, including sample applications and presentations
- Be proactive in educating and empowering developers who want to build on commercetools Front End with the design and integration of our API/SDKs
- Occasionally code in JavaScript to deliver proof-of-concepts and educational examples for our customers based on our documentation
- Partner with customers in the development of the overall architecture including existing systems while taking into account potential migrations
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations team on new products as well as documenting customer feedback on existing solutions
- Act as a valuable contact person for all current customers and partners who have technical questions and need consulting
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering leaders to define, architect, and build new customer-facing solutions based on our API/SDKs
What you need to succeed:
- 3+ years experience in an Enterprise Technical Pre-Sales/Solution Architect role
- It's easy for you to map business requirements and turn them into a technical solution and you can come up with a plan on how to achieve it
- You have written and deployed large scales applications in a production environment using ReactJS
- You can relate technical benefits and constraints of a platform to business requirements and are willing to embrace problems by non-technical shareholders and incorporate their requirements
- Experience in working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Operations, and Product teams
- You have the ability to help recently onboarded developers successfully integrate our platform
- You are a proactive team player, as comfortable presenting in person as you are via conference call or using web demo platforms
- You're good at networking and getting in touch with others quickly
- You have a can-do attitude and you thrive in a complex and highly dynamic remote environment – and you know how to inspire in your co-workers
- Top-notch written and verbal communication skills in English
- Nice-to-have: Prior experience with Next.JS, SaaS applications, headless CMS and eCommerce
