Description: Apply knowledge of software platform and large-scale business software systems to analyze customer information systems and develop solutions to optimize their use of Zuora’s billing and revenue software products and services. Specific duties include:


  • Analyze business system, engineering, and data processing issues to develop and recommend solutions to customers’ complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns as they relate to billing and revenue solutions.
  • Use computational analysis to develop insights and solutions to customer's business software system issues, such as the development of integrated billing, finance, revenue and cost analysis systems.
  • Determine software platform offerings and relevant applications needed to set up or alter the clients' system environments.
  • Recommend solutions to changing clients’ functional and technical requirements and emergent problems by carefully identifying and assessing all risks and benefits of possible approaches.
  • Define operational metrics, objectives and key results for customer’s use of billing and revenue solutions; continually measure and communicate these to technical and business team members and management.
  • Use and read the platform's related training materials and development guides to understand the functionality and recommend solutions and best practices that meet the client requirements for their billing, finance, revenue and cost analysis systems.
  • Manage platform customer escalations and communicate product changes and enhancements.
  • Ensure satisfactory resolution of technical issues, including coordination of cross-departmental resources (e.g., Support, Professional Services engagements)


Education / Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology, three (3) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience as IT Professional or Computer Systems Analyst.


 Special Requirements:  

  • Three (3) years experience in customer-facing role with enterprise software or software as a service organization.
  • Three (3) years experience in financial, digital marketing, ERP, or another large-scale business systems.
  • Three (3) years of experience working with a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team and customer base.

Salary: $ 121,597/ year

Job Location: Based out of Zuora offices at 101 Redwood Shores Parkway, Redwood City, CA 94065.
