Working within the Sales and Marketing Department at NEOGEN Genomics, Neogen's Project Managers are responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects to achieve specific goals and meet specific needs for targeted key accounts. You will be working in a flexible work environment with Sales and Marketing team members from around the globe, and are responsible for facilitating project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements for internal process and product improvements

• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the execution of projects
• Brings new ideas for product development based on industry need and demonstrated customer value, gathers competitive information.
• Develop project charters and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensuring technical feasibility
• Forecast changes and communicate current and projected issues.
• Manage resource availability and allocation specific to project management best practices
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and activities
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Manages and implements plans to achieve, report and track annual sales forecasts, budget requirements, and sales plan of action for area of responsibility.

• Travels up to 20% of the time to call on regular and prospective customers to expand revenues, meet with industry influencers and conduct other business building activities.

Education and Experience:

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• Project management experience preferred
• IT/IT Security Experience
• Software application experience
• Functional ERP experience preferred
• Application technology experience preferred
• Agile development experience
