Customer Success Manager, Data Solutions (Remote EST/CST)

The Customer Success Manager, Data Solutions, will be responsible for ensuring the success and satisfaction of customers globally who use LevelTen Energy’s data-related products or services. Their primary role is to build strong relationships with customers and provide guidance and support to help them achieve their goals and maximize the value they derive from data solutions. The Customer Success Manager will also be responsible for onboarding, training, and retention of existing customers for data solutions products in both North America and Europe.
● Onboarding & Implementation
○ Onboard customers and assist in the initial setup and training of LevelTen’s data solutions products.
● Relationship Management
○ Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a primary point of contact for data solutions.
○ Understand customer needs, objectives and challenges and work collaboratively to address them.
● Customer Engagement and Adoption
○ Work with Account Managers to ensure customers receive the necessary support and resources.
○ Learn about how renewable energy market data is used, research market trends, develop a point of view for each customer segment to ensure customers are maximizing the value of information obtained from data solutions.
○ Monitor customer adoption and usage of data solutions, identify any roadblocks or areas for improvement.
○ Proactively engage with customers to drive adoption, promote product enhancements, and identify opportunities for expansion or upselling.
○ Gather customer feedback and relay it to the relevant stakeholders.
● Customer Support & Training
○ Provide training sessions and ongoing support to customers, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of the data product's features and capabilities.
○ Provide responses for technical or information queries and escalations.
○ Address customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance on best practices.
● Renewals and Customer Retention
○ Develop strategies to meet renewal targets, increase customer satisfaction, mitigate churn, and drive long-term customer loyalty.
○ Understand the motivation, business drivers, strategic goals, and desire outcomes of your portfolio customers to support customer ROI justifications.
○ Contribute to a library of customer success assets (customer references, case studies) to support marketing, new customer acquisition and drive loyalty.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:
● Around 5+ years of experience in customer service or customer success role preferably in a SaaS company.
● 1+ years prior experience working with data and analytical products within the energy sector.
● A passion for learning and staying up to date with the latest market developments in the renewable energy space.
● Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships.
● Analytical skills to identify issues, gather and analyze data, and provide data-driven recommendations.
● Ability to empathize with customers, be responsive, and maintain a positive attitude.
● Excellent presentation and software demo skills.
● Excellent organizational, time and project management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a professional and timely manner.
● Willingness to work hours to overlap with both North American and European time zones.
● Initiative and self-motivation to work independently with limited supervision.
● A willingness to travel for client visits and attend conferences, as needed.
Additional Details
- The estimated compensation for this position is $80,000-100,000 base per year plus 20% variable compensation, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, this position is eligible for an equity grant.
