Outbrain is seeking an ambitious, data savvy, relationship-driven, and customer-centric Customer Success Manager to join our growing Global Growth team. You will be responsible for supporting the success of Outbrain’s Growth clients’ via our Amplify campaigns. The ideal candidate is analytical and an enthusiastic self-starter who is ready to dive in, identify opportunities for clients, build and lead consultative client relationships, and drive the best possible client experience in a dynamic environment. We are looking for a resourceful, bright, proactive, calculated risk-taker, who works well independently and as part of a team.


A day in the life

  • Manage a large and diverse portfolio of clients consisting of all buyer types, implementing performance-based customer success strategies to ensure growth.
  • Provide a high quality of service. Empower and educate clients. All with the alignment and understanding of the company's long-term goals.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment while leading multiple projects and relationships with little supervision over client communication.
  • Own the full post-sales journey of the client – from onboarding to retention.
  • Conduct customer on-boardings, help clients to get familiar with our platform and services, with proficiency in and highlighting the Amplify platform.
  • Communicate with clients, and monitoring and reporting on campaign performance.
  • Analyze data for each client, using in platform data, additional analytics platforms, and various tools to present recommendations on optimizations and upsell opportunities.
  • Upsell clients by identifying growth opportunities and pitching new products and features based on data and customer goals/feedback.
  • Collaborate effectively with multiple teams across different regions and time zones.

What you’ll bring

  • 2+ years of experience in digital advertising or marketing with a strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong goal-oriented attitude and resilience in pursuit of growth goals.
  • Critical thinker; Possess strong problem-solving, project management and self-regulation skills
  • Go-getter attitude; Hungry to interface with clients to achieve revenue goals through direct selling, upselling, and renewals.
  • Analytical; Comfortable digging through data, manipulating it in excel, and drawing out impactful insights for your clients.
  • Attention to detail; You’re very organized, with the ability to adjust priorities based on client needs
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team while balancing multiple tasks
  • Able to be influential and consultative with clients to ensure they are set up for success
  • Experience with excel and power point preferred
  • Proven ability to build and present data-driven stories and recommendations with internally and externally.

You’ll score bonus points with us if you have:

  • Experience with 3rd party digital platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Doubleclick, Tableau, Salesforce, etc. a plus
  • Have agency or performance agency experience
  • Fluency in multiple languages

The annual pay range for this position is $65,000.00-$80,000.00. The actual amount offered may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition to salary, you may be eligible for an equity package, as well as our competitive benefits and perks to support you and your family as part of Outbrain's total rewards package.
