Customer Success - Renewals Intern
Our customer success team is constantly growing and adapting, and weâre in need of a stellar Renewals Apprentice (Intern) to work alongside our Director of Enterprise Customer Success, Tristram Gillen. If youâre passionate about gaining experience in Business, Technology, Customer Success, and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, this is the role for you!
Hours: 20-25 hours / weekÂ
Duration: 4 months (May - August 2023)
Location: Atlanta, GAÂ

At Salesloft, our Apprentices are pivotal to our companyâs long term success. You will be a key member of one of our fast-growing and high-performing Renewals team in our Customer Success Organization.Â
In addition to working with amazing colleagues who exemplify our âteam over selfâ core value, you will also have the opportunity to spearhead a project, work cross-functionally (gaining exposure to how each Salesloft team works with and through one another), and participate in various events with your internship class. You will have an opportunity to make a difference.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
- Work with the CS Leadership team on various projects to streamline our retention and renewal process
- Sit in on customer calls and answer customer emails as needed.
- Develop data-driven analysis of our churn trends and present to leadership
- Work out of Salesforce, Salesloft, Google Drive, Ironclad, and Hook.
- Bring a fresh perspective to the CSM team to identify areas where we could better leverage the Salesloft platform.Â
- Assist our renewals team on day-to-day workflows including:
- Managing their calendar.
- Creating retention related presentations for CS leadership.
- Setting up customer calls and interactions.
- And more, the opportunities are endless if you identify areas of improvement during your time here!Â
WHAT WEâRE LOOKING FOR:Â
- A student currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, operations, or any other related field. You must be currently enrolled.
- Maintaining a 3.0 GPA minimum.
- A data driven person with exceptional interpersonal skills and customer support experience.
- Being adaptable to quick changes in priorities is key.
- Ability to learn quickly and not shy away from a challenge.
- Bringing your bias-towards-action and hunger for knowledge to the team.
- Basic Google Sheets / Excel knowledge
- Knowledge and/or experience with Salesloft and Salesforce a plus.Â
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOUâLL:
- Work with Tristram and our other leaders to develop an understanding of the business.
- Become part of a greater team dynamic and begin assistance on team projects.
- Develop your understanding of Salesloftâs in-depth platform.
- Familiarize yourself with the different systems a renewal manager uses to configure quotes and pricing
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOUâLL:
- Be working in tandem with a team leader to work on your own key project.
- Be responsible for interpreting and entering the data necessary to maintain a consistent and accurate retention forecast
- Refine spreadsheets and processes for organizing the team during transition times.
- Become a meaningful presence on the renewals team.
- Be a positive impact on the organization through the development of many initiatives.

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
The total compensation package for this position may also include performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.Â
