About The Role
In this role, you will ensure our international trade operations run smoothly and in full compliance with local customs regulations and AEO standards. You will oversee the accuracy of customs declarations, track operational KPIs to boost efficiency, and mitigate compliance risks. Additionally, you will lead customs-related automation projects and act as the primary contact for internal teams and external customs audits.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with local customs regulations, trade compliance requirements, and internal company policies.
  • Monitor AEO requirements, organize audit processes, and support customs audits.
  • Track changes in international trade regulations and actively contribute to related business processes.
  • Ensure that customs declarations are prepared accurately, completely, and in full compliance with customs legislation, and perform the necessary controls.
  • Monitor customs clearance performance and develop KPIs to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Monitor day-to-day foreign trade operations across the supply chain and provide guidance to relevant departments in line with customs regulations.
  • Identify customs risks, investigate operational issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead customs-related projects, including automation initiatives, system enhancements, and SOP development.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their operational and financial impact on the business.
  • Support internal and external customs audits by preparing documentation, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring timely responses.
  • Analyze customs data and prepare regular reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
  • Act as the primary contact for customs-related issues and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Qualities We're Looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Law, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in customs operations, international trade, trade compliance, or customs consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, customs valuation, tariff classification, rules of origin, and import/export procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed and be available 24/7 to address customs-related issues.
