Job Description
This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.
The anticipated term of this engagement will be 10 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.
CW-IT Business Systems Analyst III
The Senior Business Systems Analyst analyzes business and information needs in order to design optimal systems solutions. Working under minimal supervision, this job designs system solutions that are appropriate for business needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. This job also recommends improvements to the existing IT systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Identifies and analyzes business needs, conducts requirement gathering, and defines scope and objectives of each project.
- Makes recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
- Translates business requirements into application requirements, and works with all members of the team to execute the application successfully.
- Engages client teams and explains moderately complex initiatives in an understandable manner, while also addressing any hesitations or concerns from the client.
- Estimates the costs of various system solutions and prepares project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritizing projects and allocating IT resources.
- Prepares and maintains technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
- Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals.

Senior Business Systems Analyst
The Senior Business System Analyst oversees the analysis of business and information needs in order to design optimal systems solutions. Working with limited oversight, this job reviews that designed system solutions are appropriate for business needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. This job is responsible for managing large projects and processes, while also coordinating efforts among the Business Systems team.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Provides solutions for IT and business management concerning the application of technology to business opportunities, planning and implementation of cross-functional applications.
- Monitors feedback on the use of business applications, enhancing system productivity as needed.
- Translates business requirements into application requirements, while working with all members of the team to execute the application successfully.
- Reviews cost estimates of various system solutions and reviews project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritizing projects and allocating IT resources.
- Monitors the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshooting problems, as necessary.
- Coaches and sometimes delegates work to lower level professionals.
Required Experience
Hands-on experience across Front / Middle / Back office applications and process.
- 10+ Years of progressive work experience in the investment management space.
- Knowledge across front, middle and back-office solutions focusing investment / asset management
- Deep knowledge across investment operational process across accounting, corp. actions, investment performance, collateral management etc.
- Strong investment data knowledge across EQ, FI, Derivatives and alternate assets
- Strong working knowledge in Eagle suit of products (Accounting, Pricing and Data Management)
- Strong communication and written skills
- Working in fast paced and agile environment

End Date: 10-Feb-2024
Travel Required: No
Base Pay Range: $52.30/hr. - $54.16/hr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
