Requirements
MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Required – Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Cyber Security, or related Information Technology discipline certifications from an accredited university or IT training program (ex., CISSP, MCP, CCNA, etc).
- Required – At least 4 years’ of experience applying Risk Management Framework (RMF), Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework for Federal clients.
- Required – Serving as a Project/Program/Team Lead that leads/manages a 3-5 person RMF/Cyber security support team that provides 24-7-365 support to a Federal client.
- Required – Working knowledge using the OpenRMF Professional © software.
- Required - Expert knowledge using MS Office tools (Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Required – Serving as a technical software and RMF subject matter expert to advise government program and project managers and software developers.
DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Desired – Expert knowledge using the OpenRMF Professional © software.
- Desired – Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Cyber Security, or related Information Technology discipline from an accredited university.
- Desired – Over 7 years of experience applying Risk Management Framework (RMF), Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework for Federal clients.
Job Description
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the 3-5 person remote-access technical, software, and RMF/Cyber security support team that provides 24-7-365 support to a Federal client.
- Develop and manage execution of a Performance Management Plan (PMP) that delivers technical, software, and RMF/Cyber security support services and sets expectations for schedule and milestones for cybersecurity actions.
- Serve as Team expert on DoD cybersecurity requirements and systems (e.g., DoD 8570.01-M, RMF, FedRAMP, NIST Special Publications in the 800 series) and documentation (e.g., System Security Plan, Privacy Impact Assessment, and System of Records Notices), and execution.
- Develop and/or reviews Risk Management Framework (RMF) documents.
- Identify, assess, test, apply, and monitor software upgrades and patching for the enterprise.
- Diagnosis and resolve software problems with enterprise employees by phone, e-mail, or remote online assistance.
- Coordinate/monitor vulnerability scanning/analysis using ACAS, HBSS, and other FedRamp accredited tools.
- Manage and edit Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) checklists for servers, applications, and other components.
- Monitor systems and applications for vulnerabilities and compliance issues; isolate and assess threats and recommend solutions.
- Supervise the development of IT systems solutions to complex problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
- Research, develop, document, and analyze enterprise, operational, and system IT architectures issues and technology trends and recommend architectural, IT, or process solutions.
- Work with and coordinate program execution with CTO and COO as required.
