Cyber Analyst

Calhoun International is seeking a Cyber Analyst to support the INDOPACOM JIOC. The cyber analyst shall:

• Provide on-site functional and technical intelligence support to USINDOPACOM including the collection, analysis, and production of all-source intelligence pertaining to foreign national Cyber capabilities and foreign use of the Cyberspace Domain in compliance with DIA’s and USINDOPACOM’s SOP for the Cyber FPA, DIA ADO, ICD 203 and 206 sourcing, analysis, production, and DIA tradecraft standards.
• Analyze international engagement on global cyberspace governance and report on technology, global proliferation and dominance of cyberspace technology and capabilities, emerging cyberspace technology and capabilities, foreign threats to DoD cyberspace operations, supply chains, and technology transfer, and foreign cyber-enabled electronic warfare and information operations.
• Assess foreign cyberspace capabilities vulnerabilities, identify critical cyberspace infrastructure and key resources, and performs nodal analysis.
• Identifying critical foreign network activities that, if disrupted, cannot be readily replaced by other means at their disposal.
• Analyzing the cyber means, methods, and access employed by state and non-state actors in support of their critical functions of logistics, leadership, weapons, logistics, finance, recruitment, propaganda, etc.
• Analyzing the full range of foreign cyber capabilities to include strategy, doctrine, and intent for cyber operations and capabilities to include cyber tools (e.g., remote, air-gap, botnets, intrusion detection, etc.) and access methods (e.g., on-site access, remote access, insider access, supply chain access, etc.) employed.
• Analyzing the ability of foreign governments to identify, track, and disrupt state and non-state actor Internet activities within the borders of the nation state.
• Identifying the operating location of the units and their primary internet access point or means.
• Produce vector map products and conduct network analysis using geo-enabling processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of experience conducting analysis with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

• Knowledgeable of and demonstrates ability to apply IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.
• Experience in Intelligence Analysis and Computer Networking
• Extensive Experience with Intelligence Network (IC) Tools and Databases and understanding of the Intelligence Process and Military Decision Making Process (MDMP)
• Demonstrates ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, studies, and briefing materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), electronic / soft copy matrices and / or web-enabled formats.
• Demonstrates understanding of intelligence collection capabilities and limitations, to include but not limited to, technical sensors / platforms and human intelligence sources related to the labor category.
• Demonstrates understanding of evaluating collected intelligence reporting, engaging with collection managers, and developing collection requirements.
• Desired experience: Prior CCMD experience. Ability to work in a fast paced/high OPTEMPO environment.
• Desired attributes: Confident, diligent, organized, strong planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to adapt and perform under pressure in diverse environments.

• International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners (ISFCE) OR International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS) certification preferred
• Certified Ethical Hacker preferred.
• Certified as Target Digital Network Analyst (TDNA), Digital Network Exploitation Analyst (DNEA), or as a National Cryptologic School (NCS) Instructor
• Graduate of the Joint Cyber Analysis Course (JCAC)
• Former Navy Occupational Specialty (NOS) B525
• Prior experience supporting Cyber Mission Force requirements
