SUMMARYAgile Defense is seeking a talented Systems Software Developer to join our team! On this project, you will support Rapid Development and Innovation with technical and system engineering Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS). These services include cyber capability discovery, development, testing, advanced analytics, lifecycle support, data science needed to meet dynamic cyber mission requirements for our government customer.

In this role, you will get to conceive, propose, and design software and hardware solutions for integration into cyber systems for the purpose of improving performance, functionality, reliability, portability and user operability. This role researches, designs, develops, and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for interoperability, functionality, and performance. Additionally, this position sets operational specifications, formulates and analyzes software requirements. Tasking may include design of embedded systems software.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide embedded operations support, capability integration, and rapid prototyping in support of our customer.
  • Collaborate with headquarters and local customers to develop and integrate cutting-edge CNO tools.
  • Join our team of best-in-industry cyber warriors who are dedicated to providing superior service in support of national defense objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Certifications

  • Active CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP (DoD 8570/8140 IAT level II certification)

Education, Background, and Years of Experience

  • Meets one of the following minimum requirements with 1) a degree from an accredited college or university in Software Development or related discipline and 2) years of experience as a application software development or related fields:
  • Minimum of 3 years with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with an Associate's Degree or HS Diploma.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills

  • Experience in software development processes.

Preferred Skills

  • Languages: C/C++ or assembly
  • Platforms: Either Windows (predominantly), Unix, or Android
  • Assembly Types: ARM / 32 or 64 bit x86 / MIPS
  • Other Skills: Vulnerability Analysis or Kernel / system level programming
  • USCYBERCOM Experience

WORKING CONDITIONS

Environmental Conditions

  • Customer/Government site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

Strength Demands

  • Sedentary - 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
