PRIMARY FUNCTION
Troy 7, Inc. is looking for a Cyber Resiliency Engineer to join our team. In this role you will get to support Cyber Survivability Engineering for MDA's Director of Software Engineering (CES) on the TEAMS Next-MDSE contract. Engineering of cyber survivability and resiliency are necessary efforts throughout MDA's systems engineering process. This effort requires expert knowledge of cyber security, cyber engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, and software development at a program, system, and overarching enterprise level.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Coordinate efforts across MDA Element cyber resiliency groups
- Facilitate implementation of MDA software assurance
- Facilitate DoD-level cyber survivability methodologies to design a survivable and resilient Missile Defense System
- Attend cyber resiliency planning meetings, Cyber Table Top Exercises, and other cyber-related meetings and activities focusing on integration and coordination across MDA to provide best practices, standards, and documentation
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Understanding of the DoD Software Assurance methodologies and standards and implementation at the system of systems level
- Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency or DoD weapon system software development processes and standards
- Practical experience with cyber threat assessments to include the development of test and analysis methodologies in the threat realm
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in STEM field, preferably in a computer-related field (e.g. computer science, computer engineering, software development, software engineering, cybersecurity, etc.)
- Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS with SCI
- 12 years of cybersecurity, cyber engineering and/or software development experience under agile, DevOps, and especially DevSecOps methodologies
