Summary:
We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join us as the Cyber Risk and Strategy Manager of this newly formed team. You will be responsible for building out the team responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks for our organization as well as developing and implementing security strategies aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Cyber Risk and Strategy team in conducting thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, incorporating threat intelligence into risk assessments.
- Create threat and risk bulletins that will provide awareness to Security Operations, IT teams, and leadership.
- Define and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
- Oversee the Vulnerability Management Program and coordinate with IT teams to ensure timely patching and mitigation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to cybersecurity effectiveness.
- Develop action plans, timelines, and reports to address and improve the security posture of the environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or five or more years of equivalent role experience preferred.
- Related experience in IT Operations, Compliance and Risk Management, or Information Security Operations.
- Security and technical certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SANS, ISACA.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Demonstrated knowledge of the latest and emerging trends in the Information Security field.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, ATT&CK, Zero Trust.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in Vulnerability Management processes and technology.
- Experience in incident response planning and execution.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements such as PCI, SOX, SOC2, GDPR.
Compensation and benefits statement:
The salary range for this role is $83,726-$167,452 and is based on experience and qualifications.
Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance.
We offer employees access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and paid time off among others. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.
