Role: Cybersecurity Architect (Cloud)

Cybersecurity Architect to bridge the gap between the Technical Security & Security Architecture disciplines while acting as a cloud security Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a global business. You will be expected to closely engage with all levels of leadership and technical staff to provide your expertise on how cybersecurity can be an enabler of business growth.

Your role will be to ensure the security of our cloud environment, our people and our company data by proactively managing risks on both a global and regional scale.

Your experience of complex security technical operating environments is where you will add value, and your ability to communicate with people on all levels is needed to provide practical solutions for complex and interesting challenges that are part of today's world.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Lead architectural reviews of cloud implementations against best practice, relevant threats and acceptable risks
• Define and implement cloud security strategies and roadmaps (for both design and remediation activities)
• Collaborate across strategy, transformation, and digital engineering parts of the business to develop and manage the implementation of secure cloud architectures
• Provide support to building out the Cloud Security Capability, helping to grow a wider community and assist in keeping the teams up to date on vendor platform changes, new architectural approaches and best practice
• Setup architecture examples and proof of concepts on vendor platforms to illustrate best practice
• Collaborate with internal business customers to understand their business needs and how incorporating security concepts can benefit their business, their customers and their suppliers to drive business growth and profit.

Required Cloud Security Architect Experience:

• A strong understanding of cloud computing and security in the cloud; Microsoft and AWS cloud platforms
• Experience as a solution architect or technical advisor/consultant with security experience in Microsoft and/or AWS cloud platforms
• Experience in reviewing and understanding the current deployment, architecture, and integrations.
• Ability to comfortably communicate to any audience across the business.

Work Experience:

• Typically 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.

Education and Certification(s):

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

• May require competency in four of the six Security competencies: Security Intelligence, Identity Management, Compliance, Secured Infrastructure, Secured Development and Security Education
