Description:

Growing product security team in HPE Greenlake is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join the team. This position will help to build out the Operations side of the team's mission, with a focus on investigating and implementing automation to better secure development processes and environments.

Responsibilities:

• Plans and designs security solutions and capabilities that enable the organization to identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develops security integration to protect existing infrastructure and to incorporate future solutions.
• Designs action plans for system hardening, security monitoring, incident response, and emerging cybersecurity threats.
• Partner with stakeholders to encourage the adoption of security-compatible software designs and best practices for DevSecOps.
• Work with development teams to remediate vulnerabilities in products.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems. Equivalent experience will be considered.
• 6-10 years' experience in IT or Development, with some level of Cyber experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience with security configurations in Public Cloud contexts.
• Scripting/ automation experience, preferably with Python.
• Experience with DevSecOps designs and secure pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
• Experience securing software systems running on multiple platforms and architectures.
• Evaluating forms and processes for software security testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
• Ability to effectively communicate security concepts, risk levels and remediation value to multiple levels of the organization.
